Hi I’m Frances and I’m a fourth year physics student. I have just come back from a year abroad in Sydney and can’t wait to get back involved with Physoc. I’ve been on committee before so I know how everything runs and happy to help whenever I’m needed. I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun at all the events throughout the year. I’m super friendly so please feel free to email me at [email protected] or please feel free to message on Facebook if you have any questions/suggestions!

Hey everyone, I’m Sam, a 4th year Physics and Astro student, but more importantly the Inclusions and Volunteering Officer! If you have any problems with Physoc (or in general) please come and chat to me about it and I’ll be there to help (or get you in touch with someone who can help better than me!). I’ll also be organising the more academic events Physoc host such as the Pint with a Professor series and 24 hour inspire! The final part of my role is recruiting student volunteers for the various charity and outreach events that Physoc is involved with throughout the year. If you have any questions/problems/just want a chat you’re more than welcome to send me a message on Facebook or drop me an email at [email protected]

Hi, I'm Alana, I'm a fourth year medical physics student and your treasurer for this year! My primary role is organising the budget and accounts for our society, so I will be working to reduce costs for our members throughout the year. We have organised food deals with our sponsor The Cavendish, and have support from the IOP, to make sure our socials and events have prices kept to a minimum so everyone can enjoy them, hope to see you there!

Hi there, I'm Madeleine. I'm in my second year of studying Physics at Sheffield. My job as social secretary and events is to organise and run the big events such as the Hicks Ball and the holiday at the end of the year. This year I want to include some smaller day trips in our calendar so watch out for them too! Please drop me a message if you have any ideas or questions, I'm happy to talk about any aspect of my role in Physoc, my course or general Uni life ([email protected]). See you at the next social!

Hey! I’m Tom and I’m your social secretary and publicity officer. I am a 3rd year BSc Physics student and proud Sheffield native so hit me up for an endless stream of useless Sheffield trivia. My job is to organise, publicise an attend the various socials we put on throughout the year so all being well you should get to know me pretty well. If you want to keep up to date with these go join the group on our Facebook page. Feel free to drop me a message if you have any questions about the course or have any ideas for socials that I will definitely NOT plagiarise and claim as my own. My email is [email protected] , look forward to seeing you around!
