With term fully underway now things are starting to get busy, but this post is just to give a few updates about pHysoc plans for the next few weeks.
Sports are now in full swing, after we finally got our applications processed by Sport Sheffield with 6 aside football slots at Tuesday: 12-1, Friday: 1-2, Sunday: 3-4 and mixed netball getting a slot at Tuesday 12-2. The squash ladder is being set up shortly and I'm sure once things have settled down we will have a climbing social set up!
This week is a busy one, with First Year Rep elections on Tuesday (6pm in LT1), a Physics centered careers fair in Firth Court on Wednesday 12-15:30 and Candid Camera on Thursday. After the Careers fair we have some of York Physsoc staying to come and join us in Vodka Revolution for food and drinks for the first of our hopefully many joint socials throughout the year!
After this busy week, we're taking a week off before on of our best and biggest socials of the year- Barmeggedon. It's our Halloween social, and will be on the 26th October finishing at Corporation. Keep you eyes peeled for more information on that!
See you soon
